After an Easter break we will resume our Wednesday night supper and Bible Study on April 26th. Join us for great food 6:00 PM followed by a wonderful fellowship and discussion of the lectionary bible verses.
The United Methodist Men head to Batesburg-Leesville to rebuild a wheelchair ramp for a one of our neighbors, The ramp was unsafe and needed to be repaired, Thanks to the UMM they now have a sturdy wheelcahir ramp!
Looking for some fun – come join our group of “anyone available during the day” now called the JOY group, for a potluck with a St Patrick’s Day theme. We will enjoy some of your home cooking and our own Amy Cooley’s music ! March 16th at noon at the church. See ya there !
Faith’s got a great group for you! The third Thursday of the month the retirees and all those who are free during the day, meet to have fun, a meal or take day trips together. The group is getting the plans together for 2017 so watch here for announcements about our upcoming events !
Faith sent a team of 6 to help out our neighbors in Sellers, SC. The SC Conference asked volunteers to come together to help clean out flood damaged homes in the small rural town of Sellers. The two day event drew over 100 people from all over the southeast to Sellers. We removed water damaged
Attention Senior Adults: The Columbia District’s Annual Fun Day for Seniors, named “SALT” (Seasoned Adults Live, Laugh, Love Together) will be held November 3 at Union United Methodist Church. It’s time for a new Confirmation Class to start at Faith. The first informational meeting was September 25th but if you are interested come Sunday at 4pm. Confirmation is for students in grades 5th thru 8th grade (who have not previously participated in the class) It is a formative season of learning about discipleship and growing
